A couple of Years ago we decided to buy a house abroad and our eye fell on the country Slovakia. After some research on the Internet we decided to spend our holiday in Slovakia and in the meanwhile to have a look around on the real estate market. After having met some real estate agents, we were introduced to Maria Zondova from the real estate agency AVENUE. Maria immediately knew what kind of house we were looking for and the first house we visited with her was bang on! The sale was finalised the same day and a couple of days later, a meeting with the notary was already been arranged. So everything went very smoothly and correct. I have known Maria Zondova for several years since i started looking to buy a property in Slovakia. From my first contact i was extremely impressed with the service which she provided, which went way beyond what i expected from a real estate agent. She provided me with information on properties which i had asked for, not just properties which she was trying to sell. On my first trip she made a reservation for me at a local hotel, close to the houses which i was looking at. She always made time to meet up with me whenever i travelled to Slovakia, even when this was during the weekend. I would like to highlight the excellent service provided to me by Maria Zondova with regard to finding and completing on rental properties for myself and also for my colleagues. She always delivers on time, negotiates fair prices and ensures that the standard of both the building and its contents meet requirements. She is also very diligent in her “after sales” commitments – for example maintenance.
For UK buyers of Slovak property I can call out one exceptional example of customer service where I requested a structural survey of a property (which I eventually bought and still own). Maria was able to take an example from the UK and commission a similar report from a Slovak professional even though this kind of survey does not exist in Slovakia. This gave me much more confidence in my purchase and the price I was paying.
